2. Description of Service

Handled is a customer service concierge service that acts as your authorized representative to contact companies on your behalf regarding customer service issues, including but not limited to:

  • Returns and refunds
  • Billing disputes and chargebacks
  • Subscription cancellations
  • Travel and airline issues
  • Warranty claims
  • Delivery problems
  • Other customer service-related matters

We communicate with customer service departments using the information you provide. We do not provide legal advice, financial advice, or any professional services other than customer service representation.

3. What We Cannot Do

Important Limitations: Handled cannot and does not:

  • Access your accounts, passwords, bank accounts, or any sensitive credentials
  • Handle issues requiring direct account access, password resets, or financial account management
  • Provide legal advice or act as legal counsel
  • Guarantee specific outcomes or results
  • Make decisions on your behalf without your authorization
  • Handle matters that require in-person representation or court appearances

For security and legal reasons, we only work with publicly available information and what you explicitly authorize us to share. We do not store or have access to your passwords, financial account numbers, or other sensitive credentials.

4. User Responsibilities

By using our Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
  • Have the legal right to make requests on behalf of the account or transaction in question
  • Authorize us to contact companies on your behalf using the information you provide
  • Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information

5. No Guarantees

Handled makes no guarantees, warranties, or representations regarding:

  • The outcome or success of any request
  • The time it will take to resolve an issue
  • The amount of any refund, credit, or compensation
  • The response or actions of third-party companies

Results may vary based on numerous factors including company policies, the nature of your request, and circumstances beyond our control. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

6. Payment and Subscription

Our Service operates on a monthly subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay the monthly subscription fee as displayed at the time of subscription
  • Automatic renewal of your subscription unless cancelled
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HANDLED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any conduct or content of third parties on the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Service

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Handled and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
